Asset Manager

Location: Rockland County

Real Estate investment company with a focus on value add multifamily properties. We are looking to fill an asset management role in our company.


Responsibilities will include:


· Assist in the development and execution of asset strategies, including the ongoing monitoring of such strategies during the holding period, to maximize the value of each asset


· Maximize total return for each asset in the portfolio through the analysis of property efficiencies and identify opportunities for improved performance


· Work closely with the Regional Operations team to provide direction for and oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases and analyses


· Travel to the properties on a monthly basis


· Work with the Construction Managers to determine project capital and deferred maintenance needs and timing


· Manage the cash flow and profitability of each asset in the portfolio to include detailed financial analysis on a monthly basis


· Develop a deep understanding of the local and regional multi-family real estate markets and utilize that knowledge to refine business strategies


Skills & Qualifications:


· 3-5 years experience in Asset Management, with a strong preference for candidates with a multi-family background


· Self-starter and proactive personality


· Able to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels within and outside the organization


· Strong work ethic with ability to work autonomously or as a team
