Marketing Coordinator Job Responsibilities:


We are looking to add a marketing coordinator to the executive team in Bayonne, NJ.


Markets products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports; project management.





Responsibilities and Duties:


Supports Vice President of Marketing by analyzing sales data; planning and organizing promotional presentations; preparing marketing material and providing sales support.


· Tracks product line sales and costs by analyzing and entering sales, expense, and new business data.


· Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data


· Assists in creating on marketing materials such as point of sale materials and sales presentations


· Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.


· Supports marketing staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.


· Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.


· Assist in planning meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.


· Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.


· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications, training on Accountmate, Walmarts Retail Link and other customer consumption data programs.


· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.


· Assist in updating and managing website, Social Media and Digital promotions


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree


· Knowledge of food and nutritional industry a plus.
Problem solving the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Planning/organizing the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
Complete attention to detail the individual demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness, very detailed oriented, monitors own work to ensure quality, and uses feedback to improve performance.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications.
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to research regulatory issues and provide recommendations for resolution
Ability to be persuasive, assertive while also be collaborative
Proactive and goal oriented in driving business growth
Demonstrated initiative and creativity
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment.
Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction.
Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
